My God will supply what I lack

"My God will supply all that you lack according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

(Filipenses 4:19)

Paul wrote this letter to the Philippians thanking them for the help they had given him on various occasions. It is then, when the words of the verse selected for today, came out of Paul's inkwell. Because in addition to expressing his gratitude to these people, he is sending them words of hope and certainty.

Paul was a man who had learned to live in abundance and in scarcity; but one thing he knew and had learned through his apostolate. That no matter what situation he was living in, God would supply all that he lacked. For this reason, in a way he is testifying to them by writing those words.

Dear brother (a), if you have sown, believe me that you will reap and in abundance. If you have deposited something in heaven's account, God is faithful and just to repay you and help you. I know that these are times where the economy is not the best and the unemployment rate has risen considerably. I know the worries of having bills to pay and needs to meet.

This servant who writes to you is currently unemployed. But in the midst of the desert, she has seen God's provision, He has never forsaken me, I have been in trouble, but His provision has come at the right time. I have so many testimonies that prove to me again and again the faithfulness of God. And I want to tell you that Daddy God will not only provide for you in the financial area, but also in those areas and needs in which you need his intervention. Your physical, emotional or spiritual health; home, couple, studies, wisdom, maturity, spiritual growth or whatever you are asking for.

Learn to trust in the one who sustains the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field. Perhaps your present situation tells you that there is no way out and you urgently need something to happen, a miracle of provision in your life or in the lives of your loved ones. DO NOT DESPAIR, DO NOT FEAR, SAYS THE LORD! TRUST IN HIM AND HE WILL DO! Some of our battles will be fought by praying and believing that our prayer has power.

You are in His hands, He will not leave you nor forsake you!

Prayer:

Loving Father, my good God, I come before you thanking you for taking care of me. You know exactly the things I need and I am declaring in faith, that your provision will reach me in time. If you supplied oil to the widow, gave bread to the hungry and healed the sick, I believe in your Word and know that you will work in my life. Thank you for the miracle you are working! In the name of your son Jesus Christ, it is done. Amen.
